Hyperion is among Paul Heijnen's most exceptional work. It is nothing like the other pieces by Paul. It looks like a living creature rather than a functional piece. It is an arthropod-like lightning-shaped object with thin legs. Its arthropod like joints gives its flexibility to move and change position. Hyperion has robotic features so that you can either make it kneel or stand erect.

Moreover, you can manipulate Hyperion into various stances from a low crouch to a tip-toe stand. Paul used his cabinet-making skills to form a complex yet aesthetic piece. This unconventional appearance makes it look like a visual straight out of a sci-fi movie. This futuristic walking creature combines functionality as it has a bulb underneath for illumination. This way, it lights up wherever it goes.

Industrial designer Paul Heijnen has developed an impressive reputation with his minimalistic, intriguing, and stunning interior pieces. Paul Heijnen Studio has been creating bespoke pieces for more than ten years. The studio is steadily growing with unique collections and orders from private clients. All of Paul Heijnen's creations have a signature minimal and neutral look. Yet, each piece is unique and speaks a story of its own.

With his clean design and finishing, Paul blows life into different pieces he creates. Not to forget the limited-edition and one-offs are something that can bring anyone in awe.

Paul Heijnen Studio focuses on bringing the exclusive collection and limited edition pieces. His work speaks his values. Paul believes in economic functionality, practically, and the utmost representation of his style.

Each of Paul's creation is the result of in-depth investigation, experimentation, and creativity. He experiments with different materials and techniques to create something truly quintessential. These new objects are an evolution in design and detail. The designs of each piece grow into and out from each other. This forms an epiphanous tree of ideas that can be traced to its master.
